Our "Peeps"

We are all blessed to have special "Peeps" in our lives. They are there for us when we need a hug, to make us laugh until it hurts, cry a tear or two, and support us when we are unstable. The "Peeps" in my life have shown me that God brings the feeling of love and provides the strength I need when trials pile up but they are His arms of love. They are the physical message that God sends. I am thankful beyond words for all of my "Peeps"....without family and friends life would be lonely. I have been thinking so much of all of you because God has used ALL of you to support me these last couple of years. I have learned how to let you be there for me....but my thoughts then moved to me being a "peep" in other peoples lives. I want to be a "Peep" who's arms God can use to give a physical love, a laugh, a smile, a tear.....but why does it hurt so much more when it's your "peeps" who needs their "peeps"? I can lean on God for me but when a loved one is going through such pain how do I get rid of that hurt I feel for them? When your "Peeps" hurt you hurt. In the end the cycle never ends....the arms have to be used around you and around them. God's love is eternal, so then if we had no pain we wouldn't need His love and the arms of His "Peeps", right? Then I guess the answer is to feel the hurt for your "Peeps", be there for them and pray for them but to mainly allow His arms to HUG IT OUT, MOUTHS TO LAUGH IT OUT, EYES TO SHED A TEAR, AND SPIRIT TO SMILE!

Stinkin' peanut butter and jelly!

Why is it when you have lunch meat they want PB&J.....and when you FORGOT to go to the store and ONLY have PB&J they want lunch meat??

They are plotting against me....planning a mutiny!! I shant give up! I will STAND and STAND STRONG!!

She just cracks me up!

My lil girl wants so badly to use deodorant. She rubbed crayons on her pits came to me and had me wiff and said "see I do need it"!! And it stunk!

It's official!

She asked and we all said "YES!!". The wedding date is June 26, 2010. I just love the hustle and bustle of weddings! I've missed hanging with my family and now we will be seeing A LOT more of each other! I LOVE IT! Congratulations Stephen and Cindy!

Grad week

Last week was Graduations galore! We went to my cousin Mazie's grad ceremony and then two days later my niece Jessika's! My girls VERY patiently sat through them and I was very proud on those days! Not only for the girls who've very successfully completed middle school with scholarships to private High Schools and recognitions galore but ESPECIALLY for my Bella who never complained through the long ceremonies.

Then comes Saturday....I told the girls we were going to our friend Nick's Graduation Party. No response. Then Papa called the girls and they were chatting with him while we ran errands.
Bella: so what awe (her accent) you doing Papa?
(Silence)
Bella: oh....yeah (somber)....we have to go to anothew funewal (funeral)....we already went to 2 fewnewals and now we have to go to anothew one.

No wonder she didn't complain....APPARENTLY SHE WAS IN MOURNING....OR BORED TO DEATH!

Father Daughter Dance 2009

Analiese was so excited to go to a dance with her Daddy! Her only worry was that she didn't know how to dance...she was a little stressed about this. So, Manuel reassured her by pulling some of his moves out of hiding...
which cracked us up so much (I have it on video...but I'm too embarrassed to post it) that she quickly begged him to re-retire the moves!
This day was so surreal for me. On one hand I saw my little girl giddy over going on a date with her daddy. Then on the other end I saw this beautiful "young" girl. I could only gasp when she came out!
She is who she is! Beautiful, funny, intelligent, and sassy! I love this picture because this is the "watch it daddy" scowl that she often gives Manuel and of course he was taking the picture.

Don't you just hate when "people" take a STAND for a cause but don't REALLY stand for it?

The girls and I were driving to Camarillo to visit the library and spend the day with Mama. Side note: it is so cool inside! It's pirate/ship themed and huge! We were so excited that there was no limit on kids books on cd, so we checked out 6! And since we have a new reader we just had to check out 7 other books. Yep! That's 13 total!

Anyway, we saw this guy driving a Prius Hybrid while SMOKING!!!! I mean come on!!! Need I say more?

I've missed blogging! Sorry I've been so quiet! My body has been give me some major trouble. Different parts of my muscles go out of commission and cause me inexplicable pain. So needless to say I've been stressed and down!

BUT....I have the BEST girls ever!! Analiese told me to stay in bed yesterday and then brought me breakfast in bed! The house was so quiet I thought they were sleeping. It was her plan and she sat her lil sis down in the den and had her do math and reading so I wouldn't have to. It was a great surprise and really lifted my spirits. she sure knew what her mommy needed. She made me eggs, toast, and juice! Perfect! Bella was so proud to tell me that she had done two pages of math and reading! Wow! What more can a mommy ask for? And all of this....just because they love me!
